"A last minute booking for our family of four and this accommodation was a very pleasant and welcome surprise. From check-in to check-out our experience was seamless. Room was modern, very clean, spacious, and with its own private garden area. Location is superb, only a few minutes walk to the lake. Staff were friendly, super helpful and welcoming at all times. Great family venue. We will be back!"

"We stayed at Lake Taupo Motor inn for 2 nights as a family of 4. We got lucky with the end room which had big windows and a nice view. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms nice and dark with curtains drawn. It was a nice quiet location although still super close and handy to shops, cafes and restaurants. The pool was too cold for my 4 year old however there was also a spa to warm up in. Great stay"

"The rooms were spacious, with great amenities and a fantastic view. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy walking access to restaurants and stores. However, the air conditioning is located in the living room and struggles to cool one of the bedrooms, even with the door open. Additionally, one staff member was rude during checkout, which was disappointing."
