"Hotel was up to standard of the company; however, the central area was not conducive to safe walking after dark. I was accosted by an unsuccessful 'Artful Dodger' during my 90 second walk from the only viable restaurant to the hotel. During the day such considerations were not apparent. The other Protea hotel on the lagoon would be preferable. "

"New construction so you won't find any "old world" charm here. But it is clean, well fitted with everything you need, great location. Beds/bedding quality excellent, bathrooms well equipped. Breakfast service was more than adequate. Stayed 4 nights and cannot complain. Also, we had to make a change to our reservation at the last minute and the hotel accommodated us with no penalty.
