"We loved Mount Maunganui, and the location of Atrium Apartments is ideally located between the cute town and the Mount, as well as steps from the beach. Our room had views of both the bay and the ocean/beach. The amenities were great and we made use of the pool, hot tub, gym, sauna and the walkway to the beach. Please note: the speedway is loud because it’s close BUT they finish at a reasonable time so it doesn’t keep you awake etc. Nice room, we had a mezzanine floor with queen bed upstairs, everything else was on the bottom floor. Room had everything we needed and the small kitchen is well stocked. The property has guest laundry which is always a plus for us and the heated pool was lovely, just warmer than body temp. "Large but slightly dated home was clean and comfortable. For the price, I was not impressed with the peeling ceiling in the bathroom or that some of the dishes were not completely clean, but the rest of the home was nice with a lovely patio and was across from the pool. The grounds had beautiful landscaping and the pool was nice. Close to restaurants and shopping with pak n save close for dining in options. "

I didn't partake, but was told the included breakfast was very good (apparently the chef is a pastry chef) the room was comfy, and the area was serene. "I stayed in a unit, the bed was very comfortable, own tv and my car was parked outside the door. Staff very friendly and helpful. I didn't realise there was a swimming pool, will bring my swimsuit next time. "
