The property was clean and large with views overlooking the pasture and farmland. It was always nice and quiet. Appreciate the breakfast items prepared although we did not get to fully utilize it."

"This is a very rustic property with lots of character. I didn't partake, but was told the included breakfast was very good (apparently the chef is a pastry chef) the room was comfy, and the area was serene. If you stay here you have access to the natural hot pools 24/7. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 days and it was nicely convenient to a lot of places. (We went to Hobbiton and Waitomo glow worm caves). Matamata is convenient with other dining options, but the food at...
