"First impression, it was difficult to reach the contract to gain access and then it was done over the phone, no personal face to face meeting. Small room, squeaky bed, small bathroom were my wife nearly fell into the shower only I caught her because there is no room between the door and shower tray. "It was a quiet time of year. Staff very welcoming and approachable especially on reception. Really appreciated the bottle of water in the room each day. Everywhere was very clean. "

"Everything was great and the staff was awesome. The only negatives were the kitchen was too dark, the fireplace smoke odor was overpowering and strong, and the front door and car were always full of pidgeon poop. Trimming the trees should solve the pidgeon poop issue. We didn’t know the WiFi router had to be rented and there were none available for the first week. All the shortcomings were made up by the great staff."

"Large clean bedrooms but the hotel is old and could do with updating. Friendly helpful staff and good location as just a short walk into town. Cafe next door opens early if you want breakfast. Lots of free parking close by."

"We were in town and my daughter was able to visit us. However, our lodging was not able to accommodate her. We booked 2 nights here for here and it seemed great. I popped over and noticed she had a great balcony, with chairs, a large bed, and huge shower. On top of that the common areas, particularly the outside courtyard were really nice."

"There were a group of teenagers who were all staying in the hallway that my run was located in that were very loud and kept knocking on my door. Otherwise the hotel and staff were great."

"Great hotel and very friendly staff. The outside pool is cold. Reception staff went above and beyond. We arrived at 1 in the morning and still got checked in after calling the out of hours number. Check in only took 5 mins. Walking distance to the beach although there are no pavements so you need to walk on the road. "
