"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and for us, it was a perfect stop to explore the area. If you are looking for full a service hotel, it's not for you but as we weren't, it's easy relaxed feel was just right. "I booked this last minute based on the reviews. I agree the hotel room is surprising nice, clean and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay. When we arrived, the outside lights were not working and it was dark so it seemed a little sketchy since it was my first time seeing the place. The staff was super friendly and explained why it was so dark outside. Once inside the room, I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was really good too. I would stay here again. "

Tastefully decorated.No bar on site but a fabulous bar across the courtyard working in liaison with the hotel. We stayed one night on our journey down to our Italian home and immediately rebooked for the stopover on the way back to England."
