"Easy to get in using code for key box, convenient parking. Room was run down, headboard covering peeling off, only one pillow per person, only one toilet roll provided, electric sockets were coming away from the wall so weren’t usable. No housekeeping. Quite a loud area so could hear noisy people outside as needed the windows open due to the heat and no air con or fans provided (whereas a fan was provided in our precious hotel room a couple of hours away). "

It is unpretentious but offers a lovely restaurant with terrace seating suitable from early morning to late post concert hours. My room was spotlessly clean with lovely views of the town and Alpine valley landscape. The bedding is superior - I had the best night’s sleep after the evening’s recital in historic Church Saanen. "Hotel Seville was a dream hotel in Edelweiss room with a wooden canopy bed and a million dollar view! The food and service were excellent! Parking was scarce and bringing luggage through the cobblestone streets was difficult for us! We love everything about Gruyeres!"

"The room was very basic. We booked a 4 bed room (because that’s all was available) but when we checked in it was a small 2 bed room. No amenities in the room such as tea/coffee. Quite expensive for the facilities."

"Property is in great location but rooms are outdated. Showers need upgrades Ok , for one night if have no obtions. Night person is not responsible. We requested bedding and she said housekeeping will bring it . They never come. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The food and breakfast was really good, staff was very sympathetic and helpful and a wonderful relaxing spa. A feedback to be given to the hotel is to have the spa open in the morning too which we think is only negative point."
