"Great staff that was very friendly , accommodating, and helpful, was able to keep us in the same room when one night we had planned a stay at another location and one member of the party wanted to stay, pay for that night and keep the same room for the next few night's I reserved. "Parking our vehicle in the private lot was easy. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant did their jobs well. Our room had views of the river and skyline. We appreciated the free wi-fi. Depending on the room, you might hear trains. Our room this time was clean, comfortable, and in good condition. We enjoyed walking to the restaurants in Station Square."

"Overall, I had an excellent experience staying at Residency Inn Pittsburgh Oakland. I stayed there for a week, and the room was very well-appointed and comfortable. I especially liked the kitchenette with refrigerator, two burner stove top, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. It was nice to be able to cook a quick meal at your convenience. The hospital is a quick five-minute walk from a wide variety of bars, restaurants, and the University of Pittsburgh campus."

Only complaint was for some reason the door nearest our room was designated as "Exit Only" so every time we went out we were locked out and had to walk all the way around the building and the wind chill was about 20°. If this was a 'safety' feature ther need to fix it!"
