"The hotel is definetly not suited for the handicapped. No chair to sit in the room. The room was "overdone" with air freshener. It made my wife so sick that after 30 minutes in the room we left and went elsewhere to stay. We forfeited $111 for two nights, but two nights comfortable sleep elsewhere was a priority. "

"A quiet, rustic lodge with 4 cabinas, just a minute or two from the beach on the south side of Zancudo. Cabina`s are exceptionally spacious and clean, hot water for shower and coffee machines in all rooms. What we really liked about the place was the lack of television or radios! Wi-fi in all cabina`s. They have a small restaurant on the premises which cater for guests breakfasts and dinner. Moderate menu choices BUT cuisine served outstanding - especially their chicken medalians! Exceptional...

"Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late...

"I loved the serenity. Villa Bonita is private, clean, and has everything you need for a stay on the Osa Peninsula. I was there specifically for birding, and a short drive trook my guide and me to the best hotspots for finding endemic very special Costa Rica species. Great beaches and chocolate tours nearby too. The host commmunicated well by WhatsApp and the neighbors made themselves available for any kind of help. The bed was very comfortable. Thew kitchen has everything I could have needed....
