"Comfortable stay in this small pub/hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the room was good, with a comfortable bed. The en suite bathroom was clean if a little tired looking but had all amenities one would want. The breakfast was great but the dining room was rather plain. It was lively in the evening and had great beer. "

This was a beautifully kept property, and so convenient for both the Hospital and for Taunton town centre. "This was an absolute gem of a retreat. I was on a choir visit at The Abbey and needed to get there and back quickly between rehearsals and services and the place was just gorgeous. Beautifulmbig bedroom with all those little touches and sweet garden. Staff really helpful about leaving the car there after checkout and having a friend over for coffee. Breakfast was incredible…I want to come back!!!"
