"Clean, compact and warm room with comfortable beds, super close to tongariro national park which is where we wanted to spend a couple of days. Kids loved the split level room (we stayed in a quad mezzanine room). No microwave or sink in the kitchenette so the tiny bathroom sink is the only place to get water. The restaurant had a variety of options (including some options for vegetarians). Would recommend staying here for a night if you are intending to spend time at tongariro national park...

"I booked the king suite because I wanted to use the outdoor soaking tub. It was divine after a long day of travel. The water was very hot. The tubs are not private - you can be seen from the parking lot and the sidewalk on the public street - so I had to use it with my swimsuit on. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. "We stayed here for two nights, before and after our Tongariro Crossing trip. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and communication was straightforward. The ear plugs left on the table came in handy as the property is located next to a fairly busy road and trucks transporting cars stop and do their driver change-over next to it. Also the carpet in the room could do with a refresh as it does not smell very nice."
