"When we walked from train station the streets have lots of rubbish and homeless people and lots of police. It’s like any big European city. Never felt bothered. Next to hotel there are street vendors. Hotel itself was nice, rooms were spacious, a bit of street noise. All the staff were friendly. The breakfast was good as well. "

"Hotel was not what we expected at all. Taken from the foyer out into the street, around a corner and then through a building site to another building. Room was in an apartment block. Smelt of stale smoke and was unclean. Nothing like what was in the photographs. No way this was a 3* establishment. The one plus side, it did have a working aircon unit. This is one to avoid. "

Advertised amenities were 24/7 front desk, gym, bar, etc. Front desk is the bar, cluttered with paperwork, more of an office with a few bottles on the wall. It was padlocked up before 8pm. Called at 815 to get ice on our cell because room has no phone, but we were informed no ice, sheets were gross, crusted booger on the sheets, shower leaked, black mold residue on the wall, if theres a gym there we couldn't find it. "I don’t think this was a 3-star hotel based on other stays that I had! We didn’t have hot water in one of the days during our stay. They didn’t change the towels during our entire stay (3 nights). The room had a cigarette smell that sticked on my clothes. The region is very noisy and the streets are really dirty. The staff were cordial but speak very poor English."
