"There’s no doubt this is a beautiful historical old hotel, rooms are comfortable and have lots of original features! Good aircon and comfortable beds. However it does need a little love and attention- could definitely do with a bit of renovation (there were some works going on whilst we were there) nothing major and it didn’t inconvenience us at all) so maybe in a few months improvements will show. "Unique, simply and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Brilliantly located for all the local sites in wonderful Fort Kochi and the ferry terminal. Delightful waterfront restaurant- probably the best location to dine in the city. Watching the boats and ships was a real treat. Extremely helpful staff at the front desk and the band practice next door was a complete treat! Perfect place to start our Indian adventure."

They should use contrast strips on the steps making it easy to see for people with low vision. Easy fix toward trips and fall. "
