Gustavo -- self-exiled from Buenos Aires -- who runs the property, an informal tourism minister, was incredibly friendly and helpful and added to the overall warmth of the property, though his Rhodesian Ridgeback, India, would not give up the reception...

"I would not characterize this as a four star hotel as advertised. Rooms are average at best, the furniture is old. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was disappointing, very few dishes to speak of, silverware and cutlery were inadequate, a pot, but no pans. The microwave did not work. Staff at front desk were very friendly, but did not speak good English. Overall average at best but not worth the price"

"Spacious apartments with lounge, dining room and kitchen. It was a most amazing skiing holiday. Pablo arranged ski passes, equipment rental and transfers. Great experience, thank you!"

"Needs updated. They use a key that needs to be returned to the front desk upon leaving the premises. Blankets very disappointing. Hot water not available when I was there. Very low ceiling you can touch. Fantastic location very convenient for shopping and dining. Service is not in their list of thing to do with clients. "

"Fairly basic in all respects - but there isn't a lot of choice in San Martin - and it was cheap so adequate for the money. A little bit out from the centre, restaurants etc but reasonably walkable. Room small and basic, breakfast area gloomy - as were staff (surprisingly for Argentina on our other experiences). Very basic breakfast."
