"We had an enjoyable three night stay. Friendly and helpful hosts. Our unit had a large comfortable bed, a sofa and a table and two chairs. Separate en suite shower and toilet room. Plenty of hot water. Small kitchenette with fridge, two-ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, crockery, cutlery, saucepans, frying pan and utensils. Table and two chairs outside on a small deck in a garden area. Parking right outside the unit. The Lodge is really 'hidden away' on the outskirts of Kerikeri and...

"Lovely comfortable stay at The Stone Store Lodge. Beautiful, peaceful setting amongst the trees. Loved the kitchen and lounge areas and being able to have breakfast there. Particularly enjoyed the granola! "

"This is a lovely property in a prime location. All units have beachfront outlooks through the branches of an ancient pohutukawa. The managers were extremely hospitable and helpful. They even shared produce from their garden. The sheets and towels were high quality and the cleanliness was of a high standard. Would definitely recommend "

"Lovely fruit trees and orchard propertie Very nice wild flowers The house is run down condition The hot tub had NO water in it and had not been going for a while as had broken furniture in it The 2 x farm dogs that live outside on the propertie walk around the house barking at night We feel the add for the home stay and what reality was is dishonest. We had a terrible experience Who did the original 5 star rating of the propertie ? "

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Log house! We were surprised it managed to sleep all 12 of us in the whare. The views were amazing, the nature, cows and sheep you could see from the balcony. Host had provided us with heaps of towels, extra blankets and an extra couch for my big family. Would suggest taking a car good for gravel and stone roads as it's like that all the way to the house but it's soo worth it! Communication with the host has made this trip so much easier! would go again. "
