"This was our second stay at this hotel in the last 2 years. It's an excellent hotel right next to a train station and many places to shop. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Kawagoe is less crowded than Tokyo, but less than an hour on the train and you're in the heart of Tokyo. Staff is very attentive and efficient. My only complaint, is that the mattresses are extremely firm. I solved that issue on the second visit by bringing an inflatable air mattress. Problem solved! I hope to visit...

"Great spot to stay in Tokyo - exceeded our expectations! Room was a reasonable size by Tokyo standards and bed being elevated off the ground meant we could store our suitcases underneath to free up floor space. Toilet being separate from the shower was handy. Location was good - quick, easy walk (even with suitcases) to train station. "The best thing was the staff they were the friendliest and were very polite. It was pouring in Tokyo today and we had checked out not only did they store our bags so we could do a last minute visit in Tokyo they lent us umbrellas which was super helpful with 2 young kids. The rooms feel a little simple but the buffet breakfast and the ladies retreat with free massage chairs and shampoo bar were lovely little touches. Its also less than a 5 min walk from the station the helpful staff and extras...
