"I was attending a 70th birthday celebrations in the area and I decided to stay the night at the Lakeside International to make a weekend of it. The hotel itself is very unusual. The prevailing style is late 1960s / early 1970s, which you don’t see so often these days. It is nicely situated by a large lake and I imagine that it must really come into its own in the summer. My double room was a good size, very clean and very comfortable. I got the impression that it must have been refurbished...
