"Actually, I did not stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown because the event I was coming to GR was cancelled at the last minute. However, Amanda at the Marriott was very helpful in allowing me to cancel my stay well past the refund deadline given the circumstances. I will rebook there when the event is rescheduled."

"The stay overall was great. However, one of the main reasons we booked was for the rooftop patio, which we learned once we got there that none of the hotel bars are open Sunday or Monday. We were very disappointed none of this information was available anywhere until we got there, as these were the only days we were there. The location is wonderful for other restaurants and bars, so it didn’t ruin the trip but I wish we knew!"

"We enjoyed hotel was clean and staff friendly. We stayed for 3 nights. The only complaint was that from the first day the body wash was empty when we arrived and wasn’t enough shampoo and conditioner in containers to get us through the three days. No one came to room to refresh towels or empty trash during our stay. We had to go to front desk to get clean ones. "

"Our toilet was flushing very slowly and it actually clogged at 6:00. Maintenance came and fixed it within 20 mins. Excellent service."

However, after standing in line at the hostess stand for 20 minutes, we were rudely told, “we are on a wait!” I said that it was ok we would wait. The excellent breakfast options and helpful staff enhance the experience, making it a welcoming place. However, I hope the management considers reserving the upfront parking spaces for guests in the future to improve convenience. Despite this minor issue, I would still recommend this hotel and would likely return for another stay."

"I showed up a bit prior to check in and Jody was able to get me into a room, very grateful after several hours of driving to be able to freshen up before heading out to dinner. They do a happy hour on site, however I usually try to always get off property to check out local dining options instead. "
