"The view from our 14th floor balcony was outstanding. Our stay was 3 weeks and 3 times we needed to call down for a new access number for wifi. Much more convenient to have it for the entire 3 weeks. The location of the hotel is great. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. The pulmanias are the best invention. Such an easy way to get around. "

"We stayed at Gaviana for one night as a bridge to the nearby resort we booked for a week starting the next day. Arrived around 1 PM on Friday and were checked in immediately even though it was early. Nice, clean, basic room with a King bed and an ocean view. Right in the heart of the Golden Zone, so lots of dining options nearby and only a short walk to the north end of the Malecon. "Overall stay was fantastic. Rooms were great. Food was great and the weather was awesome. The only problem I had and the one thing I was extremely disappointed with was that on the day I was checking out the hotel charged me an extra $100 just so my family and I could sit by the pool for a couple of hours while we waited for our shuttle. I had already spent thousands on this vacation and needing to spend more just so we could kill 2 hours was BS. "
