"lovely hotel with very nice decoration. The only thing that I wasn't happy with was the shower/bath, the shower screen was in the way of the taps, if you wanted a shower or a bath you couldn't turn on the taps unless you actually got in the bath to do so."

"Very well proportioned room and very comfortable. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately restaurant was closed other than for breakfast but it is very central to loads of cafes/restaurants and I enjoyed the walk along the canal to get Sunday lunch. Very pleasant stay and very quiet at night. "

"Stayed here for the night nefore my wedding with family n friends .my sons door didnt lock and reception wasnt bothered advertises they do breakfasts on the door but dont rooms and building very dated ordered travel cot got a single bed for 7month old wont be stopping again"

"The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful. Very good sized room and king sized bed. However, it's all in need of modernisation, so some things (e.g. lights) are dated and not all working properly. Apparently this is being done soon. I was not told that there would be a banging disco downstairs on the Saturday night, which went on until a little after midnight. The walls are THIN ... I heard a lot of noise from the adjacent room, even down to the clicking of their light switches and...

"The hotel was very clean and staff friendly. We had welcome snacks and drink on the house. Experience was very good overall with the only exception the building is bit old and need a touch of refurbishment Had small flies coming from the vents of my room and was a bit unpleasant"

"Visiting family before new year. Lovely single room with small en-suite but perfect for me. Everything I needed was available but in the kitchen, required more utensils for cooking. I got takeaway and used what I could, no problem with bowls/plates and kitchen appliances. Great spacious clean kitchen. Lovely place to stay, recommend. "
