It is not easily reached by train and Uber is non-existent, but the property and its location is 5 star. Breakfast was included and it more than exceeded my expectation. "We were able to check in early on day of arrival. We had a double superior room with a wraparound balcony, which had a fabulous view of the valley both directions. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower, room was very clean with remote control operated blinds on outside to shade it from the sun. Breakfast looked superb but didnt eat there on this occasion. Room was cleaned daily. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, we hope to return in the future."

"Great quiet family stay. Spa was nice but needed a little care in places but was still very enjoyable experience. We had a penthouse room which was lovely, excellent views and a private huge patio. There were things like a TV but we never even switched them on. Parking was generally a breeze and very accessible. The kids stayed on a sofa bed which looked comfortable (obviously a premium sofabed) for kids, but as it is a sofa bed, so as adult i wouldn't want to have slept on it. Overall a...

"It’s an old style, very charming place with a lot to recommend it. Good price, excellent service, stellar location, good restaurant on site. An ordinary room is pretty uncomfortable, very, very small with a cramped bathroom. The decor is pretty old and the electrical inconvenient. Spring for their largest room and your experience will be much better."
