"Despite lots of negative reviews we enjoyed our stay here decent check in pleasant lady - room was set up for family but it didn’t hinder anything copious amounts of hot water bath and shower available. Hotel is going through refurbishing so you get what you pay for- car parking is £5 so not out of the way-bar and food prices are reasonable. We used it purely as a stop over for Leeds Bradford Airport due to forecast bad weather conditions. It met expectations !!"

"I have stayed before & I like the place & people; slightly disappointed that there was no effort to clear the car park of snow or indeed the path up to the door - it was very dangerous. No grit or salt laid either. They did say they had a shovel ! "

"Nice hotel, rooms were well equipped, all of the staff were very friendly, we arrived very early, late in the morning and they were still able to check us in. Breakfast was good, plenty of variety of cereals, buffet style English breakfast was also good as was the chef and waitin on staff. Reasonable price, recommended. "

"Everything was fine apart from a couple of cleanliness issues. We've stayed here many time and never had any issues but this time there were a couple of things. the spare pillows were unclean and had to be changed for new ones. I could feel something under the bottom sheet so moved it to find large crumbs and the final thing in the morning when I moved the curtain all the way back there was a dog treat. I thought the animal friendly rooms were meant to be cleaned better than normal rooms but...

"Stayed over after a big family gathering in the hotel. Service during the meal for 25 people was excellent and staff were calm and helpful. The swimming pool was clean and pleasant. There was plenty of free parking with 6 @ 22kw electric car chargers with payment via an app."

"Convenient for where I was going ( Venue 23 ) .. loads of bars around . Was a little noisy late at night .. didn’t bother me though. Breakfast wasn’t the best .. cheap ingredients … awful sausages !! "
