"What a surprising stay. I booked this hotel only as an overnight stay to break up a long journey. Ibis hotels are always good value for money, clean and functional. This hotel was definitely up a level - or two. New, funky decore and modern pleasant room with small balcony. Efficient air con and good water pressure. Bed was also comfortable. "This was our 3rd stay in 2 years, each time in a garden room. The terrace is so lovely to have in addition to the room. We asked for a 'more comfy' chair and we were given one which benefitted my wife immensely. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. 1 improvement would be a shower mat as the shower floor tiles are very slippery. On our last 2 visits we have bought a shower mat in a lical shop."

"Really good location just at the top end of the town. Lovely views of the river. Depending on times breakfasts can be a little manic with not enough tables but no real issue. Staff kept replenishing the food so all good If there is one criticism, it's the rooms and bathroom are a little tired. Bed really comfy and you get a great view of the boats sailing down the river Parking is now chargeable but it's 6 euro a day All in all a good stay if your travelling through "
