"A convenient and clean hotel near a major shopping arcade. The room was small even by Japanese standards, but it was comfortable enough and still had a full bathtub. Unusually, it had a separate toilet from the bath/shower room, and the sink was opposite the bed. I think this made the room feel a bit less small. It was also bright and quiet, so I had a comfortable stay."

"Lovely spacious room, with largest bath we’ve had. Bed and pillows (unusual husk ones, which were firm, unlike most of the too squishy ones elsewhere!) were comfortable; Buffet breakfast was great. Very convenient to station and garden, and lovely view of the little canal nearby. Staff were helpful, and friendly, and we took up a suggestion to go to Kurashiki Bikan, which we enjoyed. The display of local arts and crafts n the lobby and on each floor was an interesting touch. Would definitely...
