"Okay so this was the 2nd IBIS we’ve stayed at in Mulhouse during our travels and by far the one needing some care and upgrades. I’m not expecting excellence with this hotel chain and to be fair the bed was comfortable and the water hot so basic needs met. It wasn’t the cleanest and the toilet seat was chipped. "My family and I stayed at this hotel while we were visiting a family member studying at the Uni. We were absolutely blown away by the accommodations. The staff was helpful and friendly. Housekeeping kept the room immaculate. The breakfast is excellent. It is right on the tram line, so we were able to travel all over Frieburg. It is right by a bakery, ice cream shop, drugstore, grocery store, an a couple of restaurants. When we are in Freiburg again, we will definitely stay here."

"Great place to stay on our trip to visit Colmar and other regional Christmas markets. We enjoyed the on-site restaurant upon arrival for an amazing meal. Our room was modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable (I might be too tall for the shower though). No issues except on one instance we detected cigarette smoke from possibly an adjacent room. "What a find! Highly recommend. We loved this hotel, wish we could have stayed longer, restaurant menu and drinks reasonably priced. Mini bar reasonably priced. Only downside is from carpark (level 5 upwards is for guests) to room was quite a trek, and our room was the furthest one away. Also the noice from the car park renovation starting at 7.20am was not appreciated, but it won't be forever I guess. Staff were super friendly. "The bedroom was good and spaceous but that was it. The breakfast was extremely disappointing with very limited options, especially on the first morning when only a few other rooms were staying in the hotel, and they did not restock the food or drinks - basically First come, First Serve. We were not advised where to enter the hotel after the reception is closed, and after coming back from Europapark, we found ourselves locked outside with no one to assist us. Only german spoken in the hotel."
