"We stayed at Lake Taupo Motor inn for 2 nights as a family of 4. We got lucky with the end room which had big windows and a nice view. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms nice and dark with curtains drawn. It was a nice quiet location although still super close and handy to shops, cafes and restaurants. The pool was too cold for my 4 year old however there was also a spa to warm up in. Great stay"

"A clean and comfortable unit located in a nice avenue close to the Turangi centre. The only problem was despite free wifi being connected it was next to impossible to get any streamed apps or even free to view channels and the internet in general. Have encountered this at other motels in the district so it's probably a regional issue but sure;y hosts can find a solution?"

"Lovely, simple, clean rooms with a gorgeous outlook to the pools. Our four year old would have stayed in the awesome pool area our entire trip if allowed! Easy walk across the road to beautiful pathways on the waterfront, and to a family friendly bar/pizza place. Very quick drive to the centre of town. "
