"We had two wonderful days at Hotel Kursaal. Bruno is the consummate host, and both his hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, as it is an easy walk into town. The hotel is very well-maintained, and our room had a lovely view of serene Lake Trasimeno. "

"We had an amazing time here! Stefano is the absolute greatest at taking care of travel details- we arrived at 1am from our flight and there was a crib set up with cute little blankets and a pillow for our toddler. He texted us before we arrived through the What's App to help us check in virtually. He also recommended many amazing restaurants for us and placed a takeout order for us one night since our Italian is non bueno! This was also a fantastic stay for the price. Cannot recommend this place...

"The room was dated and not very clean. To their credit, the bathroom was recently renovated--hopefully, the rest of the complex will get a much-needed facelift. We didn't use the pool because we felt the beach (Zoco) down the road (with a pool) was much nicer. Wifi was spotty."

"Relais La Fattoria was a great choice! The location and the view are breathtaking! It's a nice renovated old italian house/farm, the staff is awesomely kind and hospitable, it's on top of a hill in a little village with a view of Trasimeno lake and hilly valley on the other side! The room was not at the same level as the rest around us, but we got it on a super cheap deal, therefore it was a very good compromise: bed very comfortable and clean, nice looking bathroom. The wireless is not...

"Very friendly staff. No problem to communicate in English at all. The place is nice with lots of amenities, such as playgrounds, soccer field, swimming pool, etc. Make sure you bring your own stuff, though, because linens and what not are not included and if you need them, you will need to pay a fee. So does renting a remote control for the air conditioner. We ended up paying 50 euro more for one night. Will definitely go back and bring our own stuff next time."
