Tram station outside hotel and an ideal location to explore the old town. The hotel has a very welcoming warm lobby area perfect when returning from walking in the winter chill. "Great location on the edge of the old city and an easy walk from the main train station. Hotel is in a charming old building. Service was excellent - friendly and helpful, for example storing luggage both coming and leaving. We did not try their restaurant. "

"Great location, very close to central station and tram stops. Really convenient for exploring the city and zoo, as well as further afield. The hotel is not staffed 24/7 but the adjacent hotel (which is part of the same group) is, and they can assist with check in/out, bookings and other queries. Everyone was really friendly. Not all of the hotel is accessible by lift so if this is needed, let the hotel know when booking. We would stay here again. "

"Clean, modern room and the hotel was really quiet at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the shower gel was running very low and not filled up and only two hangers in the wardrobe which was not enough for our five night stay. Location was ok, not many eating places next to the hotel but only a short walk to the train station where there were great transport links and places to eat. Around 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Basel...
