"One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Japan. Located right next to the JR Imabari station and the end of the Shimanami Kaido Cycling Route. After a long day of cycling, it was a great experience. The staff allowed me to bring my bike into the room and hang it on the wall rack. "After a day biking in down pouring rain, the staff greeted me with hot tea and offered to bring me a meal to my room. "Business man’s hotel I suppose. Right across from Mihara Station. Small room but well laid out and spotless. Young man at desk was very jolly and hospitable on my arrival. No view, wall of another building but it was dark when I got there and sleep was all I craved. Desk stored my bags for me after check out as I’d planned to visit Buttsuji Temple but I missed the early bus and couldn’t wait till afternoon for the next so I took a walk down to the port. Ferry to nearby islands in the Seto Island...
