"Good location near Station can walk undercover to it. We are 70 but got allocated a room at the furthest end of a very long corridor far away from the only lift maybe as weren't members of Toyoko Hotel chain (maybe more thought from staff re that but could just be the auto computer allocation?) Breakfast was included but when we went down it was so packed with people there were not enough seats too small a dining room so skipped it & bought sandwiches at 7-11. "I like the hotel. Very clean and cosy. Their workers were all friendly, polite and nice. Very satisfied. Only thing I would ask for would be the lotion. I wish they had little lotion packs included in their aminity. Weather is dry now, so I went out to get mine, but if they had in the bathroom, that would have been nice. 😊"

"I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel even though it was one of the cheaper options on my trip, and a simple room. Staff were so friendly and helpful. 5 minutes walk from station (look to the right at front of station for the giant green "G"). 2 convenience stores and one supermarket within 2 blocks. Super quiet area. Handy to access Shinkansen and travel to tourist areas. I would happily stay here again!"

"Quiet area, right next to the coast and the Akita tower (which is free to visit at anytime, even at night when the shops close). Supermarket right next door. This area is more suburban, but still a handful of small restaurants nearby. 10 to 15 minute walk from Tsuchizaki train station. Not walkable from downtown Akita. You need to take the train or bus to get to Akita, but the train is very convenient. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of options even if you are vegetarian. Less options if you are...

"Good size hotel room but too far from the Akita Station to walk. However the taxi was easy to catch and cost less than 1,000 Yen; if traffic is good, the meter does not even jump and remains at 690 Yen."
