"Pleasant staff, nice room and excellent breakfast. The area is very quiet and the hotel has ample parking - very useful in a mediaeval town like Ludlow. It's only a few minutes walk into the town centre with its characterful pubs and historic building."

"Only a bed for the night but very pleasant old pub with friendly helpful service and cosy room, sadly had to leave before breakfast so can’t comment on food but I would book again for a longer stay in future as it’s a beautiful part of the country to explore"

"The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there. "It was clean and tidy to expectations for pub accommodation. Large freshly carpeted room. Bathroom recently renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The burgers were as advertised one of the best I've had. The village is delightful."

"Great stay. Lovely pod with everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Stone circle and pub walkable from the pod. The completely enclosed garden was great for the dog. "

"The Cowboy hut was very clean, cosy and looked like it was straight out of a western. The bed was very comfy and the wood burner made for a relaxing atmosphere. The big bath was lovely with a view of the hills from the tub. The site was quiet and very scenic with beautiful surroundings. We had a power cut due to storm Darragh which was sorted very quickly. The onsite shop was very useful with what we needed for the weekend. Would highly recommend for a relaxing, peaceful break. "

"We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."
