"This hotel is one of my favourite ones anywhere. I first stayed there in 2007, then in 2008 and have been keenly awaiting the opportunity to return to see what it is like in 2024 with my wife. We weren't disappointed. The rooms have been nicely updated, the staff are equally welcoming and the hotel, which is situated perfectly at the main junction into the town centre has superb views and retains a tasteful ambience. We will be returning again if at all possible."

"We arrived at prime check in time but no one at the desk, and it took 10 minutes and ringing the bell multiple times before anyone showed up. The room was very basic, and was on the first floor. It was incredibly hot, and although there was a fan, even with all windows open, it didn’t cool off. The fridge in the room was also putting out exhaust heat, adding to the misery. Being on the first floor, with windows open, we heard ALL of the street noise of which there was much - teens racing...

"This hotel was nice, nestled at the top of Lake Como and at the bottom of a mountain! Be mindful, it’s still quite the uphill trek from the main road if you don’t have a car! Train is about a 15 min walk. There is only 2 restaurants in town, one in the hotel, so you’re at their mercy! The room is good but the views! That’s why you’re there, can’t beat them! Enjoy!"

"This place is cute and clean and has a lovely breakfast. You have to tell them you want breakfast and pay extra per person. It is worth it and yummy. "

"It would have been nice to get a heads up on driving access to the site. They sent us a message that there is no check in after 11pm but no information about road access to the hotel. We had to drive around town to find a way to the entry to the hotel. Also, the reception wasn’t very friendly. Check in and check out. "
