"We had room for 4 people. It was pretty big, like two connected small rooms. Very clean bathroom. The area around is nice. And the views from restsurant are amasing. However we supposed to have dinner included (at least it was written on the booking), but when we arrived - we were told that only breakfast is provided. "Convenient location, clean and functional but a little noisy with trains, bells and traffic outside. Windows blocked noise well but in 30C we had to keep them open at night. Room lights all ceiling strip Led lights which can be intense. Lovely staff, nice restaurant."

"We arrived at prime check in time but no one at the desk, and it took 10 minutes and ringing the bell multiple times before anyone showed up. The room was very basic, and was on the first floor. It was incredibly hot, and although there was a fan, even with all windows open, it didn’t cool off. The fridge in the room was also putting out exhaust heat, adding to the misery. Being on the first floor, with windows open, we heard ALL of the street noise of which there was much - teens racing...

"This hotel is one of my favourite ones anywhere. I first stayed there in 2007, then in 2008 and have been keenly awaiting the opportunity to return to see what it is like in 2024 with my wife. We weren't disappointed. The rooms have been nicely updated, the staff are equally welcoming and the hotel, which is situated perfectly at the main junction into the town centre has superb views and retains a tasteful ambience. We will be returning again if at all possible."
