"Nice old coaching Inn style hotel . Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast excellent and freshly cooked . Dinner good but restaurant closed on Fridays . Reception very good- willing to adjust room to our needs- I chose a quiet room at the back as I like to open the window. Beautiful courtyard. Lack of their own parking is a drawback but I used free parking in a road nearby and there is plenty of paid parking available. Good central location. "

"Rooms can be really small. But they were quite clean and hygieneic. Maybe worth investing in their common kitchen dining area."

"Lovely location, good breakfast and superb staff. Pam and Becca were excellent. Room was warm and clean, good selection of tea & cofffee. Kettle, hairdryer iron & board. Easily to get to and withing easy reach of Leicester. Very busy pub and restaurant at night, but didnt hear a thing. Parking available but few spaces left Satuarday evening."

"A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. "

"I only stayed one night & didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on the food. Check in & out was quick & efficient & the staff were very friendly. Room was on the small side but adequate. Bathroom was clean, modern & included a bath. I would definitely stay here again. "
