"A beautiful location at a golf club. Out our balcony we could see golfers below and the backside of Mont Blanc plus other mountains above. The staff was friendly and helpful, complete with drawing me a map so that I could find the *free* tram (with hotel voucher) back to Chamonix. A couple of good restaurants nearby. Hot tub and sauna at the hotel. Nice breakfast. The only downside is the walls in the rooms- not at all soundproof. We could hear everything our neighbors were doing, and could...

Then I found the hotel had emailed me about it and left the code for the entrance etc. you don’t usually imagine that the reception is closed, so I didn’t check the email from the hotel before arrived there…The hotel explained that this sort of thing doesn’t happen usually.
