"This was our second stay in this chalet and we had another thoroughly enjoyable week. The chalet is warm and clean and benefits from the sun streaming into the property. Le Grand Bornand is a great village with restaurants and shops and the ski area is friendly and perfect for family or leisure skiing. Would be very happy to stay again some day !"

"This place was a wonderful space for our family of 5 to stay!! The interior was cozy and comfortable and the view was stunning, of course! Sitting on the porch or lounging in the hammock and enjoying the relaxed vibe was exactly what we needed. The location was great and close to shops and restaurants. Our host was very helpful and we had no problems with communication. The pool and sauna was a very nice treat!! We were definitely spoiled that week!"

"Family holiday with teenagers. Lovely chalet and in a peaceful and relaxed area without the busyness / fuss of larger resorts. Contamines is a fantastic alpine village, great local shops amenities provide all you need and was a perfect location for hiking, cycling etc. from the door."

"Lovely homely chalet with absolutely amazing views. Very well equipped. Great walks nearby. Few things a bit dated but the chalet has a lovely warm feel to it. The host was very helpful, answering our queries quickly and clearly had fantastic knowledge of the local area. Please note the hot tub is wood fired so takes a long time to warm up, so you do need to be around all day to get it warmed up which for us wasn't practical as we spent our days out exploring, "

"Great place to stay. Nicely remodeled old farm house. Wish we had planned to stay longer. The views were phenomenal and the sound of the river at night was so relaxing. There were a few ants in the rooms on the second night but we did have 6 children in the house so they were probably trying to find something sticky."
