"Rooms definitely are needing an update and total renovation. lots of mold in the bathroom, peeling paint, shower caulking is disgusting. Shower has no faucet allowing gradual warming of water to turn the shower on once in. This causing you to reach into the shower stall to turn it on where you get blasted with cold water from the shower head. Not ideal…I really hope they put some sort of moisture extraction in the bathrooms as there is zero air movement."

"The hotel, rooms and staff were magnificent. I spend a lot of time in hotels and this was really fantastic. The highlight was the size and configuration of the suite, but most importantly having a log fire with all the wood, firelighters etc provided. It was fun. The staff were excellent, the only area for improvement was the main restaurant. The bar was fabulous and fun, we dined there the first night, however the formal dining room on the second was incredibly disappointing. The food lacked...

"My host was so friendly and considerate! The 2 breakfasts were devine. Tasty food with homemade sauces. Coffee was perfect. Wonderful place to get away for a couple nights. My room was quiet and cozy. I cocooned in there except to pop over to the market across the street for some treats. Thank you for a fantastic get away! I will be back!"

Apparently, there is just some houses around Waterloo and they rent out the dirty empty rooms in those houses. They texted me before I get there and changed the address even though I had reservations. They are just a bunch of thieves in my opinion.
