"Very nice hotel with a good view of Tongariro National park. There’s no AC in the rooms so it can get pretty stuffy unless you open the windows. But it gets chilly in the night so kinda evens out. And if you step outside in the night you get a very good view of the stars."

"Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff made late check in easy. We couldnt be accommodated in the restaurant, but we hadn't made a booking and there was a large group ahead of us. Being really close to townshio we found dinner easily elsewhere. We didn't stay long and would be happy to stay again when in the area."

"Amazing location and an amazing experience. Only criticism was WiFi was limited and although there was a TV, there was no TV aerial (you can borrow DVDs for free from reception). Note the dome gets hot during the day and cool during the night and there is the odd bug. HOWEVER it is a tent so expected and not a criticism. Overall I highly recommend it and I would stay there again! "

"The property was exactly what was listed. Appreciated being able to take our dogs. The only let down was how dirty it was, a dead mouse, bird feathers under our bed, blow fly sitting in a mug of fat on a window sill, dirty toasted sandwich press etc.. felt like the kitchen needed a really good clean. Also frustrating that you have to take your own rubbish home and the dump was closed the day we left. We did our best to leave it cleaner than we found it. Appreciated all the cleaning products...
