The front desk lady said the sewer was backed up in that room, and she apologized so she gave me another room. "This hotel is in an old abbey that is being renovated. Guests are encouraged to check it out. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Many have a small sitting room with the bed and bath upstairs in a loft. A word of caution, the stairs are somewhat narrow The staff was friendly and helpful and had suggestions for dining and looking around "
