"I was pleasantly surprised at how nice a place Zanzibar View Hotel was. One of the most beautiful and clean (very clean) boutique hotels I have stayed in. "We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "

"What a wonderful stay - the room was comfortable and chic with strong AC, a comfort bed, and a nice bathroom. The rooftop bar and pool were lovely with amazing views of the ocean. Benjamin and the other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great - right in the heart of Stone Town. I highly recommend it! "

"This is good property but would need extra care to bring it go to place. Our rooms were not ready upon check in due to electrical problems. The appliances in the kitchen are faulty and electrocutes when plugged in. Raised the issues but not addressed. The tv remote did not have batteries on checking in and it took more than 24 hours to get it working. "The property was great. The pool was convenient and there was plenty of sun chairs for the amount of guests. The resort has everything you need from a convenient store, massage, PADI shop and two restaurants. The happy hour is great but the food is so-so. The hotel staff are kind and very helpful. The staff at the restaurant are kind but sometimes on island time and orders aren’t always correct, which happens sometimes. Overall would recommend. The AC in our room didn’t blow all the way to the bedroom as it was in a corner. The fan breeze somehow could not go through the bed net. And the washroom stayed fairly humid and warm. "
