"Easy to stay at hotel 1 block from the train station. A little cramped but clean and staff spoke adequate English and were helpful when needed. Good breakfast with a lot of choices. Close to all public transport. Take advantage of the 9 E pass to use most public transit in Germany while you can. That's quite a help to satisfy your wanderlust."

"We booked this hotel en route to Denmark. We were travelling with our three year old child also. The hotel was relatively easy to find, with plenty parking. We phoned ahead as we're running late - which turned out to be a wise thing as reception closes at 8pm. When we arrived, we found the staff to be friendly, they spoke English (which saved us from using our pigeon German and/or bad sign language) and we were given directions to our room which was in one of the annex buildings. "This was one one of our favorite places we stayed at while in Germany. Our room was big and and clean . Very close walking distance to the beach and restaurants. I could live in this apartment!! "

"A perfect stay in a beautiful city, location is perfect in a quiet neighbourhood and 2 minutes walk from the number 12 bus stop which takes you into the city. The lady owner speaks very good English and is a real character with a great sense of humour and this made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was a quality buffet with cheese, hams, salami, salmon, yoghurts, jam, breads etc. and delicious coffee. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area."

"Very cute hotel in a small town. The hotel was small and easy to find and the rooms were big considering the size of the hotel. The only thing I would suggest is that if you’re not fluent in German this might not be the best place. The staff tried their best to communicate and answer questions and having a translation app on our phones helped. "

"Das Hotel ist sehr komfortabel und clever eingerichtet. Nähe zum Strand ist großartig. Pool, Fitness und Schwimmbad sehr schön. Frühstück immer mit großer Auswahl und reichhaltig, leider waren die Rühreier und der Speck nicht immer sehr warm. Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplatz leider sehr teuer, in der Nähe kann man auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz wesentlich günstiger parken. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert. "

"Hotel is nice and breakfast is satisfactory. Hotel has no Air conditioning, but lucky for me, it spring time when I checked in. I will skip this hotel during summer months. Also, avoid room 202- I think it's the only room with a window that opens widely. The rest of the hotel rooms has upper window part that tilts about 5 inches outward allowing air to get in- not intruder."

"Ein Aufenthalt im Hotel Strengliner Mühle ist ein Erlebnis. Ich war schon mehrmals im Hotel und war jedesmal zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und immer sauber. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, und abends gibt es auch ein gutes Essen im Restaurant. So bald man ins Hotel tritt merkt man die gute Stimmung. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich komme ganz sicher zurück."

"Friendly hotel but rather sloppy room service with cleaner leaving her own drinnk in our room for two days before I had to ask for it to be removed. Unwilling to accomodate breakfast earlier than 8am on Saturday but found that this could be done when another (and clearly more important )guest asked. Reasonable kitchen but rather overpriced. Everything was extra including bottled water in room but no tea/coffee making facilties"

"A lovely old style, family run hotel. Helpful staff, very spacious and comfortable room, great food in the restaurant (if a bit pricey). The only let down was the breakfast buffet which was not replenished on both mornings we were there."
