"This is one of the oldest hotels in Scotland. The room ws excellent. Bed comfortable. I couldn't get water temperature right, but hit water definitely available. I had breakfast, which was buffet style in Georgian style room. Traditional hot breakfast. Porridge was excellent! I had dinner in the Reid Room. Good selection and good selection of Gins! 12 minute walk from train station. Hotel near River."

Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"
