"This is a most beautiful setting, absolutely perfect for the get-away stay that I was looking for. And staff oh, so helpful and courteous and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Vilcabamba, but especially for someone who wants to relax in a quiet, peaceful environment."

"No pude hospedarme en el hotel a pesar de la reserva, cuando llegué no había nadie en la recepción ni en ninguna otra parte del hotel, lobby, cafetería, no hubo nadie quien me atendiera y luego de 10 minutos de esperar que alguien aparezca, decidi irme porque debia instalarme pronto en un alojamiento. Además luego intenté llamar al telefono del hotel que habia en su pagina y ese telefono celular estaba apagado. Asi que no hubo forma de ponerme en contacto con ellos "

"The property afforded us a great view overlooking the small city of Saraguro. It is a part of the very interesting indigenous tourism project in the area that focuses on telling the story of the Saraguro people who had been forcibly moved to the area from their original homes in Bolivia or Peru after being conquered by the Incas. The staff was helpful in organizing a day trip into the rural areas around the city to observe several slices of rural Saraguro life."
