"Sue and Avril really made our stay pleasant. From the moment I had contact with Sue (requesting another night stay) to dinner reservations and afternoon tea when we arrived, she was constantly engaged with us and making our stay at her beautiful Thistle House warm and welcoming. "Our stay at the farmhouse was amazing, the cottage was clean and had everything we needed, although the weather was poor we managed to have a great time and we were greeted by a little grey cat which was adorable, thank you to the staff for making the stay the best if could be!"

"Had a most enjoyable stay at The Old Cottage with wonderful hosts Karen and Darren. Really comfy double bed & great shower. Had the benefit of a gorgeous roaring fire in spacious lounge area at night with lots of DVDs and a library of books about stuff to explore in the local area. Darren and Karen were such lovely people, warm , friendly and gave helpful tips about the locality. Breakfast was fabulous, tasty and varied.
