"Our stay was perfectly average, no issues with service, cleanliness and comfort. Also enjoyed the swimming pool. This is a typical coach package trip hotel. It's a bit tired looking but nothing to complain about, except for the early check out time."

"I have read a few reviews about the Grand Hotel being one of the worst hotels in Llandudno but it actually wasn't that bad at all, considering the price I've paid for. It is at an excellent spot within the area. Yes, the floors are a bit creaky, and the rooms are a bit out dated, but the main thing was to have a nice rest after exploring Llandudno, and we did. Would I recommend this hotel? Not to everyone because people have different standards, but to someone looking to save on a night's stay...

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "

"Had a lovely 1 night stay at this historic hotel. The interiors are dated but that is part of the charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. The room and bed were comfortable, but the kettle was a bit rubbish and not convenient to use (it was connected to the plug which was behind the television) The breakfast was pretty average, not the best but you had enough options. "Immaculate property and a great breakfast. Only let downs were finding a previous guests’ toenail clippings on the floor and left in the wooden panel above the bed (seriously, who does that?! grim!). The main disappointment was the seriously poor sound proofing. The rooms are adjoining so in terms of sound, it was like living with room mates with the adjoining room. For the amount spent on finishing, hard to understand why the soundproofing was neglected. Other reviews seem to complain about the...
