"When I arrived the signs through the front door was confusing. I just found my way through to the bar where I spoke to the lovely staff behind the bar. Staff were really nice. Was shown to my room. Bed was comfortable, bedding and towels were clean. Carpet and bathroom floor was not clean. Hair on the bathroom floor. Tea and coffee was a welcome addition. "Loved the hotel ambience, friendly/efficient staff and room was warm, well equipped and comfortable. Bathroom was very warm and great shower in minus temperatures.View from 1st floor front window was picturesque and the dining room and breakfast rooms spacious and comfortable. Excellent stay, we will return. Breakfast and dinner ample and good standard. Perfect 2 night vacation."

"Highly recommend Beaconsview B&B! Jen made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. It was my partner’s birthday and Jen left a note and a gift for him - it was really kind. Absolutely stunning views and the breakfast was wonderful. Parking was a brilliant bonus. The room was gorgeous - beautifully decorated throughout, spotless, the bath and shower were fab, and the bed was huge and really comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

"The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there.
