"It was a much needed night away. Very clean and comfortable with lovely views at the front of the hotel -dual aspect. Had a noisy neighbour,(child on phone), but it settled down. Downside was in places the floor seemed uneven and very squeaky but as it was just one night this was fine."

"Great location, very short walk to mountain railway. Friendly helpful staff. They are upgrading the old hotel slowly, some great history and architecture in the building. room could have been a bit cleaner; stupid sensor light for bathroom goes out after 5 mins!! Please go back to a simple light switch!"

The food is delicious and speedy service too. The entertainment that we saw was very good. It had everything that we needed and it is so conveniently located for all amenities. "We love Llandudno. 1st stay at the Grand wont be the last. Great view from the room, great size room. Could have been cleaner, wouldnt take much. Good clean bedding. Value for money. The outstanding points are your waitress Jo at dinner and breakfast who went above and beyond to make our stay great, and one of the chefs at breakfast (unfortunately i didnt get his name). They're the ones that make the difference. "

"Had a lovely 1 night stay at this historic hotel. The interiors are dated but that is part of the charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. The room and bed were comfortable, but the kettle was a bit rubbish and not convenient to use (it was connected to the plug which was behind the television) The breakfast was pretty average, not the best but you had enough options. "The location is great, near the centre of the town The related Erskine Arms is lovely with attentive and helpful staff and nice food. The breakfasts were very really good. Nice big rooms and plenty of hot water. The only downside was the beds. In our first room, the mattress needed replacing, as the springs had gone. In the second, the plastic mattress protector made for a sweaty night. The staff were very helpful in arranging a room change. Book a table for dinner at a weekend. As it turned out...
