"When I arrived the signs through the front door was confusing. I just found my way through to the bar where I spoke to the lovely staff behind the bar. Staff were really nice. Was shown to my room. Bed was comfortable, bedding and towels were clean. Carpet and bathroom floor was not clean. Hair on the bathroom floor. Tea and coffee was a welcome addition. "Loved the hotel ambience, friendly/efficient staff and room was warm, well equipped and comfortable. Bathroom was very warm and great shower in minus temperatures.View from 1st floor front window was picturesque and the dining room and breakfast rooms spacious and comfortable. Excellent stay, we will return. Breakfast and dinner ample and good standard. Perfect 2 night vacation."

"The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there. "We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."

"The Cowboy hut was very clean, cosy and looked like it was straight out of a western. The bed was very comfy and the wood burner made for a relaxing atmosphere. The big bath was lovely with a view of the hills from the tub. The site was quiet and very scenic with beautiful surroundings. We had a power cut due to storm Darragh which was sorted very quickly. The onsite shop was very useful with what we needed for the weekend. Would highly recommend for a relaxing, peaceful break. "
