"Great hotel just outside the old city. Room was lovely and clean and staff were friendly. Only street parking but we found a spot on a street just behind the hotel. Only about a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance to the old part of the city"

"Hotel Villa Ambrosina is up a steep hill with Commanding views of the Tuscan countryside from the top, it was a 15 minute drive from Florence and we parked in a big car park just inside the city walls which was great. The hotel is slightly dated, reception were helpful and there is a separate restaurant on site, the road to the hotel is narrow but there is a better alternative route!"

"Loved this hotel. Very peaceful considering it is on a main road. Staff are lovely. Very friendly and efficient. Always offer assistance. Both the public area and the room were spotless. Plenty of sanitising gel available and masks worn by everyone in public areas. The room was lovely, with a small balcony. Nice toiletries provided. Buffet breakfast not possible due to Covid, but breakfast was served by Sara. She was so nice and friendly and her home baking was delicious! We were a 5-10...

"Tony was excellent in giving us advice on Siena, made us feel very welcome and had great humour. The breakfasts were wonderful. The Hotel retains many of the lovely charms and history of Siena. "

"Front desk staff was helpful and spoke Fluent English. There is a bus stop close by, but I just walked the old stone streets. They have a nice garden overlooking the nearby hills. Breakfast was well prepared, and the staff preparing they accommodated me. "

"Excellent service in a hotel created in an old traditional siena building. The interior design is a little unique and didn’t suit our style, specifically the bathroom in the centre of the room which was like a goldfish bowl. Other than that, very happy."

"Excellent place to stay in Siena. Close to Porta Pispini on the corner of via Aretina and via Girolamo Gigli park on footpath out the front to drop off your suitcases on arrival. No breakfast but a great cafe near the Porta Pispini, 2 minute walk away. The rooms are comfortable large and clean with Tuscan views from the terrace. Paula is an excellent friendly host with a deep knowledge of what see and where to eat in Siena. I Will definitely stay here next time in beautiful Siena."
