"Excellent welcome from receptionist/waitress. Clean room with all basic needs met for an overnght stay with good bed and pillows. Well lit room. Some noise from next room. Poor choice in restaurant. No dishes of the day and no entrecote at 7 pm, which was the only appealing dish. Snall portion of sausage with 2 boiled potatoes and slice of ham with chips very overpriced, as was the wine.Very disappointed.. Breakfast selection also poor value at €14,50. "Great accommodations for a small mountain town. The building was gut renovated in 2019 after having sat dormant for years after the previous hotel on site was burned down. Loved the inside vibe though the decor inside the hotel rooms were a bit sparse (spacious though). For Americans, there is no AC (not particularly uncommon) so beware. Hostess was good at communicating late checkin procedures since we did not arrive at the property until 10 pm. Overall lovely stay with all our basic needs...

"I needed a last minute stay whilst on a motorcycle tour through Europe. I turned up as the kitchen was closing and the manager asked the chef if he would stay on to cook me a meal. I’m not fussy and let the chef cook what he had on hand, a selection of local cured meats, foie gras and crusty bread for an appetiser and an amazing dish of chicken, mushrooms and a white wine sauce. Truly a stay to remember if only for one night. "

"We were here to view the xterra triathlon. This is a tiny town but the accommodation was excellent with a nice staff and excellent breakfast and meal options. Sadly it was quite wet and rainy while there so we did not get to be out as much as we would have liked. Having this place as a refuge was welcome. "
