"If you don't golf, we would not recommend staying at this property. When we arrived it was quite crowded and it was not easy to park. We had to get a second room, as the first one was a climb of several flights of stairs. The restaurant food was nothing to write home about. We stayed here thinking it would be convenient to the Travemunde ferry, which it was not. It was quite far away. Again, if you don't golf, don't stay here is all I can say. Not worth it. "

"Ein angenehmes inhabergeführtes kleines Hotel. Eine schöne ruhige Lage auf der Sonneninsel Fehmarn. Die Zimmer sind modern renoviert und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück könnte etwas regionaler sein mit weniger Abgepacktem. Aber z. B. Kaffeevarianten und Rührei etc. gibt es auf Wunsch auch ganz frisch. Das Bad ist etwas klein und die (kurzen) Wege/ Treppe etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber alles OK."

"Had a very pleasant stay here. The rooms and property are well maintained. Great overall experience. My only inconvenience is that as a taller and larger individual, the shower stalls are a bit tight. But the water was nice and hot, and the towel heaters were excellent. Also, because you're technically on an island, having a kitchen was a huge plus. Plenty of supermarkets in Burg Auf to stock up. Having a car is a must. "

"Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sauberes, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes, familiär geführtes gutbürgerliches Hotel. Hier kocht der Chef selbst (und lecker), der Service ist freundlich, schnell und immer mit einem Lächeln. Hier findet man noch den Wohlfühlfaktor. Gutes Frühstücksbüffet auf das man sich am Morgen schon freut. Zentrale Lage, ganz schnell am Strand (zu Fuß). Hotel hat einen Aufzug. WLAN ist vorhanden.
